Company History
Our story began in 1978, when JC Surfacing was founded with a single goal – to deliver honest, high-quality tarmac services to homeowners and businesses in Nottinghamshire. What started with a few tools, a van, and a strong work ethic soon grew into a name recognised for craftsmanship and consistency.
By 2014, we formally incorporated as J.C. Surfacing Ltd (Company No. 09287226), operating from our headquarters at Unit 12, Balderton Business Park, Newark. Today, the business remains family-owned and led by the original founders and directors – Tiffany Cooke, John Edward Cooke, Timothy Dennis Cooke, and Ann Cooke – each contributing decades of knowledge and leadership to ensure the company’s continued success.
We are proud of our journey from local beginnings to regional recognition, serving clients across Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, and beyond – including projects as far afield as Wales. With a focus on evolution and excellence, JC Surfacing is built to last.
